AriasBosinger Welcomes New Partner Adam W. Carls
Arias Bosinger, PLLC is pleased to announce the addition of Adam W. Carls as a Partner with the firm. Adam will be based out of the firm’s Altamonte Springs office and will continue to focus his practice on representing condominiums and planned developments throughout Florida.
Adam is well known within the community association field, and has built a strong reputation among fellow practitioners, industry leaders, and association directors for his depth of knowledge, effective advocacy, and accessibility to his clients. “We are extremely fortunate that Adam, a highly distinguished and respected leader within the community association legal community, is joining our team,” said Sonia A. Adam was born and raised in Longwood, Florida, and continues to live in Central Florida with his wife and daughter. Adam’s distinguished academic career includes a degree from the University of South Florida, where he served as an officer of the national political honor society, Pi Sigma Alpha. Adam graduated Cum Laude from the Florida Coastal School of Law ranking in the top 10% of his class. While in law school, Adam served as a Staff Editor on Law Review, as a Justice on the Honor Court, and as the Parliamentarian and Committee Chair of the Student Bar Association. Adam was awarded Chairperson of the Year for his efforts in amending the Association’s governing Bylaws, and was selected by faculty and peers as the recipient of the Phyllis Stansell Ethics and Professionalism Award out of more than 450 students.
Adam has focused his entire legal career on representing the interests of community associations both big and small throughout Florida, ranging from high rise coastal condominiums, rural homeowner associations, golf club communities, 55+ age restricted communities, country club developments, and vacation based properties. He advises clients on a broad range of legal issues and corporate operations, including governing document revisions, preservations, and revitalizations; covenant interpretation and enforcement; budget and reserve funding; collections and bankruptcy; election procedures; turnover from developer control; contract review and negotiations; and governmental regulation. Adam routinely presides over Board and membership meetings and provides risk management analysis to facilitate efficient community governance while reducing liability exposure.
In addition to client representation, Adam has been a featured speaker on community association issues at the City of Orlando’s Neighborhood and Community Summit. He provides continuing education classes for licensed Community Association Managers, as approved by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. He has prepared educational materials and provides seminars to both condominium and homeowner association Board Members, including new Board Member Certification classes. “Adam symbolizes our commitment to excellence.
