Lance’s practice focuses on community association law, real property law, contracts, covenant enforcement and general corporate governance. Since 2018, Lance has been a Florida Bar Board Certified Expert in Condominium and Planned Development Law – an accomplishment achieved by less than 0.2% of Florida’s attorneys.

Lance has served as general counsel and advisor to condominium associations, homeowner associations and cooperatives throughout the state of Florida and has experience in collections and covenant enforcement, DBPR arbitration and pre-suit mediation proceedings, contract drafting and negotiations, bulk telecommunications contract review and negotiations, governing document review and amendments, foreclosure litigation, association meeting guidance and attendance, MRTA and discriminatory covenants review, fair housing issues and association turnover assistance.

Lance is a regular presenter for board members and managers on a variety of topics at trade shows and industry group meetings. He is experienced in working with community associations of all sizes and budgets to identify and implement timely and cost-effective solutions to a variety of association-related issues. Lance is also a longtime member of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar.

When Lance is not practicing law, he enjoys flight instructing as an FAA-certificated Flight Instructor, and is also a licensed commercial pilot.
