“Evaluated for Professionalism, Tested for Expertise.”
ORLANDO, FL – Effective June 1, 2018, Sonia A. Bosinger and Carlos R. Arias, founding partners of Arias Bosinger, PLLC, will be among the inaugural class of attorneys who achieved board certification in Condominium and Planned Land Development Law by The Florida Bar.
Board certification is the highest level of recognition by The Florida Bar and displays an attorney’s competency and experience in their area of law. Certified attorneys are the only lawyers allowed to use the terms specialist, expert, or B.C.S. for Board Certified Specialist when referring to their legal credentials.
The Florida Bar evaluates all certified lawyers for experience and expertise in their area of law and professionalism and ethics in the practice of law. According to The Florida Bar:
[c]ertification is The Florida Bar’s highest evaluation of attorneys’ competency, experience and professionalism in the areas of law approved for specialization. The Florida Bar maintains high standards lawyers must meet before seeking certification … Even if an attorney does meet the stringent application criteria; judges and other lawyers must evaluate the lawyer as to character, ethics and professionalism; and the lawyer must pass a rigorous examination … before officially earning board certification …
Sonia A. Bosinger and Carlos R. Arias are among the first lawyers earning board certification in Condominium and Planned Land Development Law by The Florida Bar. Less than one percent (1%) of the nearly 118,000 Florida lawyers – approximately 126 – attained this distinction.
